For this custom project, Property Renovation Services was asked to bring a timeless, European-inspired look to life. The client wanted the distinctive charm of a German smear finish on their brick surfaces—a style known for its rustic texture and soft, whitewashed appearance. Our team applied the technique to the archway, fireplace, and column, blending craftsmanship and creativity to achieve the perfect balance of old-world character and modern design
We used a ½-inch veneer brick paired with white mortar, carefully applied and smeared to create a hand-finished look that feels both authentic and refined. The result is a warm, inviting space with plenty of texture and personality. Whether indoors or out, the German smear finish offers a unique way to elevate brickwork and add depth to any environment.
